This is McKenna's second year of playing softball, and she really enjoys it. She has had more of an opportunity to play other positions infield and she says that playing pitcher is her favorite.Mckenna playing third base. Looking ready to go!

Easter

Easter was really fun at the Burris house this year! We had Kim and Dar over, along with Dar's sister and 3 boys . We had a massive egg hunt with a total of 290 eggs! The kids had a blast and the weather was perfect. After hunting for the eggs, the kids sat outside and opened the eggs to find the candy.

Jason's birthday party

We had a Mardi Gras party for Jason for his birthday in February. We had a lot of fun with many good friends! This has become a tradition for Jason's birthday as Mardi Gras and New Orleans are some of his favorite things!

Christmas

The holidays were great! McKenna had a blast opening presents and got everything on her list. We changed our traditions this year and instead of a quiet family get together on Christmas Eve, we had a party at Ken and Karen's house. It was the beginning of a new tradition and fun was had by all.

Thanksgiving

So it has been a while since I have blogged, but here it goes: The Burris' and the Thompsons went to Orangevale for Thanksgiving. We had a great time with the Botica Nielsen bunch! The bigger kids (Caitlin, Allan, Andrea and Jason) went out for a fun night of bowling! Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful at Allan's brother's house, wow was their property beautiful!
